The villa is situated in Koskinou village, which is an ideal location for summer holidays in Rhodes as it is close to most of the islands major attractions and just a short drive from the centre of Rhodes town. Koskinou is a beautiful village built on the top of a hill overlooking the east coast of Rhodes. The village is a protected settlement still retaining its’ traditional character, and in fact it is one of the oldest villages on the island with historical evidence and artefacts indicating that the village existed well before the 15th century. Walking around the villages narrow winding streets with beautiful neoclassic houses painted in bright, vibrant colours, leads down to the lively main square of the village, where you can find many shops, markets, bakeries, cafeterias, bars and traditional restaurants. The villa is an ideal base for those who want to make the most of their holidays in Rhodes. Within a few minutes’ drive you can reach some of the best beaches on the island and the popular summer resort of Faliraki with its’ lively atmosphere and vibrant nightlife. Finally, for those that seek to do some sightseeing during their holidays, a number of important sights are within close proximity of the house. The Old Town of Rhodes, an important UNESCO monument of cultural heritage as well as the acropolis of Rhodes are located 7 km away. The magnificent ancient acropolis of Lindos overlooking the picturesque village with the
narrow streets and traditional white houses is approximately half hour drive too.
